OpenStack Engineer

As our OpenStack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining solutions using OpenStack. You will work on greenfield projects to build scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure that meets business needs.

What you will do
  • Participate in designing OpenStack environments.
  • Automate deployment and management using tools such as Ansible.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Monitor and resolve issues in OpenStack environments.
  • Work with DevOps and operations teams for CI/CD integration.
  • Support infrastructure incidents and promote IaaS best practices.
  • Complete other tasks as necessary to contribute to the progress of the company. 
For this role you will need
  • Experience with OpenStack deployment and maintenance.
  • Strong network administration skills in Linux.
  • Familiarity with Ansible.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strategic thinking to leverage data for impactful outcomes.

It's a plus if you have:

  • Knowledge of BGP, load balancing, networking (VLAN/VXLAN), storage systems (Ceph), and security in cloud environments.
  • Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ) and modern databases (MariaDB).
