Senior Observability Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to building and scaling a 360-degree unified observability stack across infrastructure assets (network, storage, cloud, power, servers, VMs, services, security, compliance, customer-facing dashboards, Kubernetes, etc).
  • Use Grafana, Loki, and ELK stacks to implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
  • Help surface key insights by creating dashboards, alerts, and visualisations that improve reliability and performance.
  • Support orchestration of observability data to identify trends, forecast issues, and move from reactive to proactivemonitoring.
  • Contribute to defining standards for log/metadata organisation and maintaining documentation of observability practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure observability solutions align with business and technical needs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with the Grafana stack (Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Alloy).
  • Familiarity with the ELK/Opensearch stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Fluentd, Filebeat, Metricbeat).
  • Understanding of Prometheus and related tools.
  • Comfortable working in Linux environments.
  • Exposure to automation/configuration tools such as Ansible (or similar).
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills, with an eagerness to grow into a more senior role.
Nice-to-haves:
  • Experience monitoring Kubernetes environments.
  • Familiarity with the Influx stack (Telegraf, InfluxDB).
  • Awareness of OpenStack environments.
  • Interest in SecDevOps/SecOps practices.
  • Experience with incident management tools (e.g., PagerDuty).
