Practicalities
  • On-site mode: This role requires presence in our Kamppi office ideally 5 days per week. Don’t worry, you won’t be alone or hangry there.
  • Level of expertise: Entry-level.
  • Duration: 3 months.
Your responsibilities
  • Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues by retrieving and analyzing logs, error reports, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support staff to ensure smooth hardware and network operations.
  • Open, track, and follow up on support tickets with hardware vendors.
  • Coordinate and arrange on-site visits for field engineers for hardware repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Support customers with basic requests (e.g., password resets, troubleshooting).
  • Assist the datacenter operations team with day-to-day tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • The work may also include other tasks assigned by the employer.
Your key competencies
  • Hands-on experience with the Linux command line.
  • Strong written and verbal english communication skills, including explaining technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Vocational qualification in IT/electrical/electronics/mechanical engineering.
  • Social skills and readiness to work on-site in the office.
  • Bonus points for:
    • Customer support experience (datacenter/hardware environment preferred).
    • Driving license.
Nice-to-have
  • Containers & orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Portainer (or similar).
  • Automation & scripting (shell scripts, small tools).
  • Hardware benchmarking and performance testing using various tools and custom scripts
  • Exposure to machine learning workflows (hobby projects welcome).
  • Previous technical support experience.
