About the role
As our first QA expert, you’ll claim this no man’s land and turn it into a force to be reckoned with. You’ll not only build a system that functions, but also instill a testing mentality in our engineering teams.

Practicalities
  • Hybrid mode: This role requires presence in our Kamppi office at least 3 days per week. Don’t worry - you won’t be alone or hangry there.
  • Level of expertise: Senior.
  • Employment type: Full-time and permanent.
Your responsibilities
  • Build a comprehensive end-to-end test automation system from scratch that validates our entire product ecosystem.
  • Design and implement test suites that emulates customer workflows.
  • Drive testing mentality among developers - ensure unit test coverage.
Your key competencies
  • 5+ years of building and maintaining test automation systems.
  • Programming / scripting skills in languages used in test automation (choice of the framework is up to you).
  • Skills in both API testing and user simulation (Selenium, etc.).
Nice-to-haves
  • Knowledge of several testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Good understanding of cloud providers in general.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, along with a capability to work with ephemeral environments.
  • Security testing experience.
  • Understanding the workflows of ML customers.
As a person, you’re natural at taking ownership and working on a high level rather than obsessing over details.
Success criteria for this role in the next 6-12 months
  • QA function has been built and functioning well.
  • You’ve become a trusted QA (Automation) expert among your cross-functional colleagues.
  • You’ve left your mark on our testing mentality.
