Practicalities
  • Hybrid mode: This role requires presence in our Kamppi office at least 3 days per week. Don’t worry - you won’t be alone or hangry there. (We keep a stocked fridge…)

Your responsibilities
  • Be our first and only HR admin specialist, managing day-to-day HR operations and keeping everything running smoothly.
  • Handle the full employee journey: onboarding, contracts, changes, and offboarding , with care and attention to detail.
  • Keep our employee records organized and compliant with Finnish labor law and GDPR.
  • Work closely with finance and our payroll partner to make sure salaries, benefits, and reports are handled accurately and on time.
  • Support hiring logistics and help new joiners have a great first-day experience.
  • Maintain and improve our HR processes, tools, and templates - and bring your ideas for making things simpler and better.
  • Be a trusted point of contact for our team, answering HR questions and helping make our hybrid work culture thrive.
Your key competencies
  • At least 3 years of experience in HR administration, HR coordination, or a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of Finnish employment law and HR best practices.
  • Fluent in both Finnish and English, spoken and written.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with care.
  • Experience with HRIS tools and payroll coordination.
  • A self-starter who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, and making processes work better.
  • Previous experience in a scale-up or international company is a big plus.
Success criteria for this role in the next 6-12 months
  • Takes end-to-end responsibility for key HR administrative and operational processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintains flawless HR administration that meets legal, regulatory, and internal compliance standards while supporting company growth and scalability.
  • Delivers responsive, human-centered HR support that enhances engagement, trust, and satisfaction across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
  • Builds strong relationships with managers and teams, providing reliable HR guidance and insights that enable better people decisions and organizational performance.
