About the role
Senior Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in the execution and optimization of procurement activities for Data Center (DC) and Hardware (HW) investments. This role is responsible for managing and following up annual CapEx, executing vendor agreements, supporting and leading major negotiations, and delivering measurable cost optimization outcomes.

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role bridges procurement strategy and operational execution, ensuring commercial discipline, supply continuity, and value realization across the procurement lifecycle.

Your responsibilities
CapEx Management & Financial Discipline
  • Manage and track annual DC & HW CapEx expenditure across assigned categories
  • Ensure purchase orders, contracts, and invoices align with approved budgets
  • Support forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis in coordination with finance
Vendor, Logistics & Agreement Management
  • Manage operational relationships with OEMs, vendors, and logistics partners
  • Administer supplier agreements, SLAs, and commercial terms
  • Coordinate lead times, delivery schedules, and cross-border logistics where required
Negotiation & Commercial Execution
  • Lead or support negotiations for major procurement packages
  • Execute pricing, commercial terms, and volume-based agreements
  • Ensure negotiated savings are fully captured, tracked, and reported
Cost optimisation & Value Delivery
  • Deliver contribution toward  annual cost optimization targets
  • Identify savings opportunities through:
    • Supplier consolidation
    • Specification optimization
    • Commercial term improvements
  • Monitor supplier performance and cost drivers continuously
Your key competencies
Education & Credentials
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Finance
  • Professional procurement certifications (CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent) preferred
Procurement Experience
  • 6–10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles
  • Proven experience managing CapEx-driven procurement
  • Hands-on experience in DC, IT hardware, infrastructure, or mission-critical environments
Commercial & Technical Skills
  • Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated cost-saving outcomes
  • Solid understanding of contract administration and commercial terms
  • Familiarity with long lead-time equipment and complex supply chains

  • High level of ownership and accountability
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Ability to operate independently in fast-paced environments
  • Effective communicator across technical, financial, and operational teams
